Plug the female end of the power cord from the generator into the power inlet that is interconnected to the transfer panel 4: Starting the Generator: Follow the generator manufacturer’s manual exactly. Make sure the output is 120/240 V at 50/60 Hz and stable 5. Switching to Generator Power: Confirm the main utility breaker is OFF. Turn the 60A generator breaker to ON 6.
