We were so hopeful that this product would warm our small hot tub. We left it in the water plugged in for 3 days insuring we were using the appropriate extension cord. The weather was between 68-94 degrees and it barely got the water temperature up to 89 degrees. Unfortunately, we don’t live in Alaska so this temperature was not warm enough for us Texans.
So far the powered anode is working well and the sulfur smell is pretty much gone. However, shortly after installation I had a failed heating element. I will replace both and we’ll see how long they last with the new anode.
So far so good, the sensor seems to work well and haven't had any issues with the device.
